🇬🇧 Born in the foot hills of Snowdonia, Ian Simmonds comes from a long line of Welsh wordsmiths and artists. As a youngster, he travelled a lot with his family to the USA and Australia taking in all the sounds he heard along the way. He began his career at the end of the 80's with the acid jazz group the Sandals, then moved on to producing as Juryman, Wiseintime and under his own name. He moved to Germany in 2005 to take the Wiseintime band on the road working with the cream of Germany's young jazz players.

Simmonds released his 15th studio album 'All That's Left' last year on Pussyfoot Records. He begun 2020 on the back of a brilliant photography and music tour of Japan in which he showcased his stunning photography alongside DJ sets and the Japanese release of his brand new track 'King'. This summer Ian will be releasing 'King' worldwide as part of a rework EP, with 3 reworks and another original track titled 'Women'.
