🇨🇭 Sam Maryu is a producer & DJ originally from Geneva and currently based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. His music is a mystic melting pot of hip-hop, jazz, ambient and experimental sounds. Every track from the artist transports its own story and has the great particulartiy to reach your mind making you wonder while still headbanging heavily to the groove.

Over the last years, Sam Maryu didn't miss to express his world through multiple DJ sets aswell, especially in Geneva with many notable passages in differents rooms of the well reputed cultural center 'L'Usine'. He is strongly influencend by artists like Flying Lotus, Samiyam, J Dilla, Ras G, Boards of Canada and many more. After self-releasing many projects on the last decade, Sam Maryu released his first full-length album 'Prism' through Diffract Records at the beginning of 2020.

At ease in the downtempo area, the artist also excels when it comes to pushing the BPM and weighing down the bass under his alias Tuff Hunter (Bass Music / Dubstep). Sam Maryu also works his videos with a solid background in this field, mixing traditional filming and 3D processing.
