🇨🇭 It is with a passion that borders with stubbornness that Eddie A, running also under the name of ea or Eddie Allamand is evolving into music. Unconditional lover of trip-hop, abstract hip-hop and nu-jazz, the swiss producer and musician explores various styles and influences. Between 2011 and 2013, he self-released three albums based on a downtempo and melancholic-but-full-of-hope vibe, mixing organic and electronic elements with original instrumental lines and a touch of classic music.
In 2017, he founded the music label Diffract Records with the goal of releasing authentic projects by authentic artists coming from his area and beyond. The same year, he released his fourth album 'Quiet Understanding', a project composed on a lounge and ambient basis, drawing influences from trip-hop, electronica and world music.
As well as his productions, his dj sets hover above different emotions and colors, alternating phases of introspection and sharing. Over the last years, he mixed at different festivals and venues in Switzerland, including Le Zoo, La Gravière, Les Docks, Hacienda, Weekend Au Bord de l'Eau Festival.. and sharing the stage with great artists like Doctor Flake, Christian Löffler, DeeB, Dser, idle, Sam Maryu, KDN & kreaem, Costals, DJ Madcap and many more. A nice amount of his mixes are findable online.
Expressing himself through many forms, Eddie A also likes to capture and edit videos to faithfully illustrate the universe of his music. He is highly active in the project edNbo aswell, delivering mixes and vinyl rips mostly with sounds from the early years of Trip-Hop to keep on the culture spreading.
