🇺🇸 Will you dare enter the Dirty Art Club ? Well... you should. Listening to DAC is a very multicolored experience, a psychedelic downtempo ride that let you visit various melting landscapes and scratched memories.

If hip-hop and trip-hop were a thing in the late 60's or 70's, this is pretty much what you could have expected to hear. Technically, Dirty Art Club’s sound consists of sample-based instrumentals, composed with analog and digital instrumentation. Take some mind-bending guitar riffs, old movies samples, alot of dust, some forgotten 45s.. some dope arrangements and boom! Magic happens.

With one album and two 2 EPs released between 2011 and 2013 as a duo composed of Matt Cagle and Johnny McKiever, Dirty Art Club came back in 2018 as a solo project driven by Matt. The artist, based in Charlotte (NC), USA, managed to keep the singular essence of the club and even added new substances to it. Since then, Dirty Art Club has released one EP and two albums, including the fresh 'Gardens' LP that came out earlier this year and which can be heard as a nice audio-reflection of the bizarre summer we're living. Keep it dirty.
